RE: Joint City Council aand EDA Meeeting
Backgrounnd:
As discusssed previouslly, the Counncil has direccted the EDAA to meet wwith other arr
economic development professionnals to disccuss alternaate models for econommic
development outreach.
The City CCouncil and the EDA wwill be meetting jointly bbeginning at 4:30 p.m. on
Wednesdayy, April 28, tto gain input from Bentonn County EDDA Director NNancy Hoffman
regarding ppotential alterrnative modeels of econommic developmment outreachh. The scenario
includes givving Ms. Hofffman access to current prrograms the St. Joseph EEDA is pursuing
and asking her to comment on such pprograms.
In addition, I’ve reacheed out to Ms. Carol Andderson, Morrrison Countyy EDA Directtor
regarding ppotential to atttend the meeeting. Unfortuunately, Ms. AAnderson is oout of town neext
week. She has however, reviewed innformation suupplied to herr and developped comments.
