MEETING DATE: May 12 2010 AGENDA ITEM: New Application Approval BACKGROUND INFORMATION: At our February meeting the Fire Board authorized the hiring process to replace two members and start an eligibility list. We received 7 applications and the fire departments investigating committee had oral interviews on April 27 with all 7. On May 4 we did the Agility Testing with 6 out of the 7, one applicant decided not to go any further, and came up with 4 that we feel would become good members BUDGET /FISCAL IMPACT: Up to $5,000.00 per member ATTACHMENTS: Yes REQUESTED ACTION: Have the Fire Board review the list and approve the Fire Chiefs request to hire the top three and put the fourth member on a waiting list for one year.
