SUBMITTED BY: Mayor BOARD /COMMISSION /COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION: PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION: Michael McDonald was appointed to the Planning Commission serving a term from January 2009 to January 2012. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: On May 3, 2010 Mike McDonald resigned from the Planning Commission. The City Council accepted the application and solicited applications from May 14 to June 3, 2010. During the open period the City received three applications: Rick Schultz, Clint Jeffers andAdam Lommel. As is the practice, the Mayor receives the applications and reviews them with the Chair of the Commission for which applications are sought. From this meeting a recommendation is forwarded to the Council for ratification.
