AGENDA ITEM: Fire Chief's Conference
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: In the past, the Fire Board has approved to send two, the Fire Chief and
the Assistant Fire Chief, to the Chief's Conference. This year the conference is October 21 — 23 in
Rochester Mn. I believe this to be a very important tool to our department. It allows us to learn about
new laws and techniques that are out there and to be able to talk with other departments on how they
handle different situations.
BUDGET /FISCAL IMPACT: Cost of the conference for two members

REQUESTED ACTION: Fire Board to approve two members to attend Chief's Conference
