AGENDA ITEM: Safety Cones
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: In keeping up with "Safety" I would like to purchase Safety cones for
each of our trucks. Right now, we only have 4 in Engine 1 and 4 in Ladder 2. Having Safety cones in each
truck would benefit us in that it would give us a total of 24 cones vs the 8 we have now and it would also
mean no matter what truck we have we will always have some available. The 8 we have now are the
standard cones you see around. The ones I would like to purchase are collapse ones that come 4 to a
pack and are in their own case. They also have lights in them that can flash or show a steady color for
night use.
BUDGET /FISCAL IMPACT: $106.25 each or $637.50 for 6 (1 for each Truck)

REQUESTED ACTION: Fire Board to approve the purchase of Safety Cones for each truck.
