AGENDA ITEM: Updating Fire Hall Computers
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: We have three computers at our Fire station, one desktop in our
dispatch, one laptop in our training office, and one laptop in the Chief's office. Over the past year, I
have been working with Judy to get the Fire Department on the City's server. As we were doing this, we
found out that our computers are slow and out of date. Judy and myself decided that we needed to
replace the tower in our dispatch room, which is done and works great. However the other two are very
slow and I would like to replace them. Besides the Tower we just purchased, we have not done any
other updating to our computers in years.
BUDGET /FISCAL IMPACT: Cost of 2 new Laptops or Desktops

REQUESTED ACTION: Fire Board to approve the purchase of 2 new computers
