AGENDA ITEM: Pagers
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Pagers are what each firefighter needs to have in order to respond to
emergency calls. We were able to get 8 new ones last year with the help from the DNR grant, however
we are still at a point where we have many old pagers. If they break and we send them in to get fixed,
and if they are out of warranty the won't fix them unless it's an easy fix.
BUDGET /FISCAL IMPACT: 5 pagers for $2,703.94
ATTACHMENTS: Yes
REQUESTED ACTION: Have the Fire Board Approve the purchase of 5 new pagers, or discuss what other
options we have.
