BACKGROUND INFORMATION: After 23 year on the St. Joseph Fire Department, Neil Loso decided that
it was time to retire and step down affective August 11 2010. He said he had a good time and it was
time for him to step down and make room for some younger members.
Brian Orcutt has been with the department for 22 years and has turned in a letter stating that he will be
retiring from the department in January of 2011
BUDGET /FISCAL IMPACT: Replacement of 2 members (approx. $5,000.00 per member)
ATTACHMENTS: No
REQUESTED ACTION: Nothing at this time, but make sure the Fire Board is aware that at our next
meeting the Fire Chief may be asking to open up the applications for some new hires.
