AGENDA ITEM: Recommendation of Officers
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The Fire Chief's 2 -year term position, 2 Captains 2 -year term, and 1
Captain 1 -year terms were up for appointment. Jeff Taufen was the only one who signed up for the
chiefs position. Mike Lyon, David Saizer, Paul Phillip, Dan Muyres, and Shirlie Brill all signed up for the
Captains position's. The investigating committee met and would like to recommend to the Fire Board
that Jeff Taufen be the Fire Chief for a 2 -year term, Mike Lyon and David Saizer to the 2 -year Captain
terms , and Paul Phillip to the 1 -year Captain term
BUDGET /FISCAL IMPACT: None
