AGENDA ITEM: E.M.T. Classes
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: At our last meeting, the Fire Board ok'ed the cost of the E.M.T. refresher
class for Shirlie Brill. We also looked at the cost if more members would do this. I check with our
medical instructor, and he said that if a member who is a E.M.T. and would drop down to a First
Responder, all they would have to do is go through the refresher that we all go through every year.
BUDGET /FISCAL IMPACT: Cost of EMT Class = $295.00
Cost of EMT Class Hours = $280.00
Cost of EMT Book = $45.00
TOTAL cost of EMT Ref. = $620.00
Cost of First Responder Class = $120.00
Cost of First Responder Hours = $160.00
TOTAL cost of First Responder = $280..00
