AGENDA ITEM: Engine # 1 Replacement Committee
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: At our August meeting the Fire Chief asked the Fire Board to look at the
purchase of a new pumper to replace Engine # 1. The Truck is a 1995 and it is starting to show it's age.
The Fire Board agreed to look at the purchased and asked the Fire Chief to come up with a committee
and get some numbers and bring them back. The Fire Chief and the Assistant has put together a
committee, has talked to General about specing out a new truck and giving us a trade in value for our
old pumper and has talked to other departments about looking at their latest purchased trucks for
ideas, but we have not been able to get any number as of yet
