JOSEPH MEETING DATE: Council Agenda Item 4 C December 2, 2010 AGENDA ITEM: 2011 Non Union Compensation — Requested Action: Accept the recommendation of the Personnel Committee allowing for a 1.5% COLA, step advancement and HSA contribution in the amount of $ 4,000/$ 2,000. SUBMITTED BY: Personnel Committee BOARD /COMMISSION /COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION: The Personnel Committee met with the non union employees to discuss compensation for 2011. They agreed to carry forward a recommendation to provide the same COLA, step advancement and HSA contribution as other employees. PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION: BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The Council discussed the compensation at the budget meeting and agreed to carry the recommendation forward as a consent agenda item. BUDGET /FISCAL IMPACT: 1.5% COLA and Steps where applicable HSA — Family contribution $ 4,000 Single contribution $ 2,000 ATTACHMENTS: None REQUESTED COUNCIL ACTION: Accept the recommendation of the Personnel Committee allowing for a 1.5% COLA, step advancement and HSA contribution in the amount of $ 4,000/$ 2,000.
