AGENDA ITEM: Cable Services — Requested Action: Appoint Brad Veenstra,
Integrated Media to the Cable Commission with a compensation of $ 400 per month.

BOARD /COMMISSION /COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION: The City currently has three members
on the cable commission, Tom Nahan, Noreen Loso and Tom Klein. Both Tom Nahan and Noreen Loso
will be retiring.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Administration was notified that Tom Nahan and Noreen Loso are
retiring from the cable commission. The Cable Commission will continue to have staff to tape meetings
and are compensated at $ 35.00 per meeting. Veenstra will coordinate the activities.
BUDGET /FISCAL IMPACT:
reduction of approximately $ 7,500.
