MEETING DATE: February 2nd, 2011 AGENDA ITEM: New Computer Scanner BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Last year, the Fire Board approved the purchase of 3 - new computers to get the Fire Department able to work on the City's server. At that time, we received a old scanner that the city offices' had. The purpose of this is to be able to scan all our documents onto the server. This would include our training, emergency reports, personnel files, and more. This would make it much easier to find documents of past events very quick and would allow us to not have to have paperwork stored in boxes all over. BUDGET /FISCAL IMPACT: $2,600 - 2,800 ATTACHMENTS: None REQUESTED ACTION: Fire Board approve the purchase of the Scanner
