Jason Neuerrburg and Aarron Holthaus are representing the invesstment group and will attennd the

EDA meetingg on March 330 to providee additional innformation to the EDA. Thhe owners of Cone
Castle, LLC (also ownerss of several Taco John’s restaurants in the Twin CCities Metro Area)
have enteredd into the puurchase agreeement with tthe intent of razing the eexisting residdential
structure andd building a neew, small-foootprint ice creaam/food stufffretail facility. The facility wwill be
designed to primarily acccommodate wwalk up traffic with suppleemental business from a drive
thru. The invvestment grouup has hand--picked the cuurrent site for the intended use. Please see
the attached information foor building layyout and conccept.
The investmeent group hass submitted aan applicationn to the Business Façade AArchitectural Grant
Program relaated to building design, cconstruction, and landscaaping installattion at the suubject
property. Accopy of the BFFA Applicationn is attached to this memoo.
As you are aaware, the BFFA Program iss a matchinggrant is for aarchitecturalsservices and aactual
construction costs relatingg to façade deevelopmentoor landscape vvisible from public rights off way.
The EDA’s 2011 capital allocation inncluded fundding for BFA Grant applications and other
remaining balance is suffficient to covver additionaal BFA appliccation.

the cost of demolition of tthe existing dwelling. Conee Castle is seeeking $6,5000 to assist with the
demolition/abbatement. Pleease find addditional informmation attached relating too costs assocciated
