AGENDA ITEM: FFNM Grant
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Last year, we wrote for a grant though FEMA to try and replace our Fire
Fighting gear and for what ever reason were not able to get it. The Grant will be opening up again for
this year and would like the approval to try and right a grant to replace all 30 sets of gear. The NFPA
standard says that all gear should replaced after 10 years and all of our gear is at or just past the ten
year mark.
