BACKGROUND INFORMATION: At our last meeting in May, I asked the Fire Board to approve
the hiring of four members to the Fire Department. After contacting them, we were only able to
put 1 on, who is Sharon Young. The other 3 were not able to due to some personnel factors that
came up.
BUDGETAISCAL IMPACT: The cost of putting 1 member through the minimum requirements (Up to
$5000 over the next two years)
