I've had the opportunity to visit with Katie Foley, Manager at the Minnesota Street Market regarding
Councilors the Market and her efforts to get Market items into institutions. In addition, Ms. Foley has previous
Steve Frank experience in working with local producers. Through the course of our conversations it became
Bob Loso apparent the EDA/Co -Op /Market have shared goals relating to the Mn. Street Market's success and
Renee Symanietz the effort to connect local farm producers to institutional end users.

Ms. Foley indicates the primary needs of the Co -Op /Market at this time are an increase in available
EDA inventory and getting more customers through the door. To those ends I've invited Ms. Foley to
Carolyn Yaggie- attend the EDA meeting to:

Steve Frank 1. Share her experience (relating to needs, obstacles) when working with local producers and
Chad Davey institutional end users.
Tom Skahen
Dale Wick 2. Her plans /efforts /goals to serving CSB, SJU, ISD 742 and how they may relate to NFFTE
efforts by EDA.
3. What she feels the Co -Op and Market need to be successful.
4. How the EDA may assist in terms of inventory and /or increasing customer volume.
