Steve Frank At a previous meeting the EDA approved the concept of developing an all- weather, construction
Bob Loso sign suitable for marketing its participation in local development projects. To those ends I have
Renee Symanietz contacted Joe Pfannenstein Signs regarding the creation of a 4' X 4', double sided, all- weather
Dale Wick portable sign. At this point I have asked Mr. Pfannenstein to employ the same artwork used for
our window clings, intending the sign to be re -used in other construction projects in the future. I
EDA will have preliminary design and pricing for the construction sign available at the EDA meeting.

Heinen I've also reviewed the sign ordinance as it applies to a 'construction' sign. Such signs are limited
Chad Davey to 32 sf in area and must be removed by either the issuance of a certificate of occupancy or
Steve Frank within two weeks of project completion, whichever comes first.

Dale Wick Finally, I've received authorization for sign placement from the owners of the `Cone Castle'
parcel at 118 1 Avenue NW.
ACTION:
Authorization to proceed with purchase of a construction sign.
