HomeMy WebLinkAbout[05] Liquor License Transfer, Loso's Main Street to Middy CITY OF ST.JSSSNH Council Agenda Item 5 MEETING DATE: December 1, 2011 AGENDA ITEM: Liquor License Transfer SUBMITTED BY: Administration BOARD /COMMISSION /COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION: PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION: BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Loso's Main Street Pub is in the process of selling with the new owner and employee, William Wittrock. The new license will be effective January 1, 2011 and under the new name "The Middy ". The required background check has been completed and the Police Chief has indicated that there is no reason to not grant the license. While Will has applied to register the new LLC, we have not received official notification that the name has been registered so we are waiting for this final step. Will will be going to the State to pick up the registration in person. The violations remain with the property and there are two outstanding violations, one expiring in 2012 and one in 2013, both which are minor consumption. The new owner is aware that the violations remain with the property.
