BOARD / COMMISSION /COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION: The Fire Board authorized the
solicitation of applications to replace three retiring firefighters. Applications were reviewed screened and
tested with the top three candidates: Cory Molitor, Mike Folkerts, and Ronald Schmidt. The Fire Board
recommended the Council accept the candidates as Firefighters effective 2012.
The applicants have all completed the required screening (background and medical) and are qualified
candidates.
