PO Box 1717 St. Cloud, MN 56302 -1717 FROM: Marshall Johnston Municipal State Aid Needs Manager DATE: April 17, 2012 SUBJECT: Municipal State Aid Designations and Revocations The following Municipal State Aid Street designations will be approved when the City Council resolution is received: Extension of MSAS 110 Lynx Road- 16 Avenue SE to Minnesota Street East (0.20 existing miles) Extension of MSAS 112 Northland Drive- CSAH 75 to Jasmine Lane (0.55 existing miles) MSAS 115 Jasmine Lane- CSAH 2 to Northland Drive (0.37 existing miles) The following Municipal State Aid Street revocations will be approved when the City Council resolution is received: Part of MSAS 108 Field Street- Minnesota Street West (CSAH 2) to College Avenue South (CR 121) (0.94 non existing miles) MSAS 111 16 Avenue SE- Baker Street to Minnesota Street East (0.19 existing miles) The following documents must be submitted before further processing can occur: A Commissioner's Order will follow after the City Council resolution is received and approved by the Commissioner. Comments: If the City Council resolution is received by the DSAE before May 1, 2012, routes designated can receive needs in 2012. Include the road data with the normal computer needs update. Also include the revisions on the Certification of Mileage due in January 2013. If you have any questions, contact your DSAE or Marshall Johnston at (651) 366 -3815 for instructions. District State Aid Engineer File An Equal Opportunity Employer 0 cab i;) 0 Resolution 2012-007 RESOLUTION REVOKING MSA STREETS WHEREAS , It appears to the City Council of the City of St. Joseph that the road hereinafter described as a Municipal State Aid Street Under the provisions of Minnesota Laws; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED , by the City Council of the City of St. Joseph that the road described as follows, to-wit: Field Street - From Minnesota Street West (CSAH 2) to College Avenue South (CR 121) th 16 Avenue SE - From Baker Street East to Minnesota Street East be, and hereby is, revoked as a Municipal State Aid Street of said City subject to the approval of the Commissioner of Transportation of the State of Minnesota. (SEAL) ____________________________________ Judy Weyrens, Administrator City of St. Joseph Resolution 2012-008 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING MUNICIPAL STATE AID HIGHWAYS WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of St. Joseph that the street hereinafter described should be designated Municipal State Aid Street under the provisions of Minnesota Law. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of St. Joseph that the streets described as follows, to-wit: thth Baker Street East - from 16 Avenue SE to 18 Avenue SE th 18 Avenue SE - From Baker Street East to Minnesota Street East Northland Drive - From County State Aid Highway 75 to Jasmine Lane Jasmine Lane - From CSAH 2 to Northland Drive be, and hereby is established, located, and designated a Municipal State Aid Street of said City, subject to the approval of the Commissioner of Transportation of the State of Minnesota. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to forward two certified copies of this resolution to the Commissioner of Transportation for his consideration, and that upon his approval of the designation of said road or portion thereof, that same be constructed, improved and maintained as a Municipal State Aid Street of the City of St. Joseph, to be numbered and known as Municipal State Aid Street. th ADOPTED this 19 day of April, 2012.
