BOARD /COMMISSION /COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION: The Fire Board recommended the City
declare the 1997 Polaris 6 x 6, tank, pump and trailer as surplus, establishing a minimum bid of $ 5,000.
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION: The Council accepted the recommendation of the Fire Board and
declared the equipment as stated above surplus, offering the same for public sale.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The equipment was listed for sale on the City website and a fire
publication and one bid was received. The bid was in the amount of $ 5,056 with the bidder Fred Honer.
The Fire Department has already received the new equipment and placed in service. The equipment is
ready for release.
BUDGET /FISCAL IMPACT: $ 5,056.00
ATTACHMENTS: Request for Council Action
REQUESTED COUNCIL ACTION: Authorize the execution of a bill of sale for the 1997 Polaris 6 x 6,
pump, tank and trailer to Fred Honer for $ 5,056.
