AGENDA ITEM: Dress Shirts
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: As part of our Fire Department gear, each member receives a White
Dress shirt to be used at meetings, dinners, and funerals. When the last three members got on, there
was quite a demand from our current members that they also needed to get their white shirts replaced
due to the age of their shirt and a few reasons that they don't fit anymore. These shirts have not
changed in the past 25 to 30 years and seeing how we have to buy three new ones and about 15 others
that are wore out, the department would like to change the color and or style. Just like the Safety vests,
these shirts are considered part of the gear that each members receives when they belong to the St.
Joseph Fire Department.
BUDGET /FISCAL IMPACT:

REQUESTED ACTION: Get the Fire Board's approval to purchase 30 new dress shirts.
