AGENDA ITEM: Election Judges — Requested Action: Appoint Election
Judges for the August 14 State Primary and November 6
State General Election.

BOARD /COMMISSION /COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION:
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION: Minnesota Statute requires that municipalities appoint Election Judges.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: For each election the City Council is required to appoint Election Judges
to serve on Election Day. Each precinct must have a minimum of four judges at all times. The judges
presented on the attached list will serve for both the Primary and General Election. In the event that
additional judges are needed for the General, a supplemental list of judges will be presented to the
Council for appointment.

cost of approximately $ 3,000, of which has been budgeted.
