COMM IONWOM MEETING DATE: August 1, 2012 AGENDA ITEM: Surplus Property BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Turn Out Gear: With the purchase of the new turn out gear, we had 16 fire pants and 14 fire coats that where 20+ years old in storage. We donated them to "The Message" program who will donate these to departments that have nothing. Fire Hose: During our annual fire hose testing, we had 3 1 1/2" fire hose that did not pass due to holes in the hose. It is no good to anybody and will be discarded in the trash. Due to this Toss, we need to replace the 3 lengths with new hose.
