PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Annually tMe Mayor submits for ratification the appointments for the
coming year. The appointments designate representatives to various Boards and Commission.
The appointment for acting Mayor should be a separate action as the Council must go through a
nomination process and then vote from the nominations. This process should be completed after the
ratification of the appointments.

REQUESTED COUNCIL ACTION: Accept the 2013 Mayor Appointments as presented and complete the
nomination process to select an acting Mayor.
