While the exact language has yet to be determined, the following table is a list of proposed amendments for discussion by the Planning Commission. Ordinance 52.34 Industrial 1. Add a provision for Biomedical Research. In the past the City identified the industrial park an area where bio- medical activities could occur, but it has been noticed that no provision to the Zoning District was provided. The City is actively working with a bio medical research company who is looking at purchasing a building in the industrial park. It was discovered that a bio- medical industry is not permitted. Therefore the request is to add bio- medical research as a use under special uses. 2. Modify the provision for shooting ranges, relating the special use permit to MN Statutes. Shooting ranges are regulated by MN Statute and NRA. Included in this packet is the Statute. Business Zoning Districts The current Ordinances include an exterior requirement of 50 %, (6162) the question has arisen if the intent is 50% of all sides or if it could be combined on two or three sides. Fence (52.12) The current fence ordinance has excess footing requirements that should be changed. Accessory Building (52.10) Review Provisions for setback and requirements Sign Ordinance Clarify the provisions as there is conflict. (61— 63) Should the City create a provision that requires all City fees and Ordinance 55 invoices be paid before issuance of a rental license?
