He is currently talking to the Lions about helping out with this cost. (They are also interested in helping with an enclosed shelter at Klinefelter which could include bathroom facilities.) The project would proceed with the hardscape going in first; pad for gazebo, gazebo structure, trail system, landscaping beds, then irrigation. The bid for an irrigation system is $2735. Thomsen's quote for plants was $4,000. Wholesale price was very close. Terry is still working on pricing for materials ie., edging, wood chips, staples, etc. (probably about$3,000) Trails estimate is $6,000. Terry has contacted several institutions for donations. John is going to approach the Lions. Terry feels someone needs to "adopt"the park. Several ideas were mentioned. Whatever group does so may want to be included in the activities up front. Samantha may check into a group at CSB that may be interested in helping. There will be handicap access over the curb. A new sign may be necessary. Adjournment: 7:30 )(yLaitti
