PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The City has received the intent to negotiate from AFSCME so
the Council should appoint either the personnel committee or two members of the Council to be part of
the process. The Council should also decide who will be providing legal advice throughout the
process.
