Minutes from February 13, 1989
Meeting called to order by Joe Braun at 6:37 pm.
Members presenb John Anderson, Nel Pfannenstein, Fay Gretsch, Jo Loscheider,
larry Christen, Greg Henry, Claudette Klein and Liaison
Steve Dehler.
Minutes were approved by Nel pfannenstein and seconded by Jo Loscheider.
Treasurer i s Report~ We have a total of $13,500 and only received $1,000000
(additional) for this year. Fay gave us this report.
Winter Recreation: Skating and bowling are filled. Volleyball is slow, ski
lessons are picking up, and next week they are planning a Wacky Winter
Wecreation week because District 742 students are not in school.
Skating Pond: Steve reported that the warming 'houses are doing ok. A lot
of activity at Kennedy but it is going ok with checking the key out at
Linnemann I s store. There was a broornball tournament at Kennedy this last
weekend. It was suggested to write a letter to St. Joe Hockey Association I
and the Joes baseball team regarding the re-location of hockey rink to
Memorial Park.
Liaison report: not much was said in regard to parks.
Cross Country Ski ~ John rep::>rted he had the trai 1 groomed and the next day
the wind blew it shut.
New Business
Plans of 1989: Several members volunteered to check into some projects for
the March meeting.
Meeting adjourned at 7: 45 .
