St. Joseph City Hall
Members Present: John Anderson (Chairman), Marguerite Fogarty (Secretary), Sharon Young,
Bob Loso (Councilor Liaison), Terry Thene (Staff Liaison) Jody Keehr, Troy Goracke
Call to Order: 6:30 p.m.

Bob reminded the Board that budget time is coming. There is no new Park Dedication money
currently as the Amory is exempt.
Terry Thene•
Maintenance issues are being worked on. They are somewhat behind due to weather.
Old Business:
Cloverdale Park Timeline:
The Lions Club purchased a white vinyl gazebo.
The estimate Terry received for pavers is $2,960. This is a labor intensive project. He is looking
for a person with experience in installing these.
Terry will be meeting with a concrete company rep tomorrow. That labor cost will be donated.
The pad will be poured and allowed to set before the dirt is moved for the trail.
The handicap access was poured.
Terry predicts the whole process will last through this summer.
Millstream 5K
This event will take place on Sunday, September 29.
John is meeting with Mike McDonald and a rep from CSB to sketch it out and make sure they
have enough volunteers. Some needs will include 4 people for same -day registration and a lead
vehicle. He is going to look into zapevents.com for pre- registration. He will share this
information at the next meeting.
Archery Range
The Grand Opening was a success. There was a good turn -out of both adults and children.
New Business:
Recognition and Thank you to Lions
Several ideas of ways the Board could show our appreciation to the Lions for their generous
donation of the Gazebo were;
A granite piece recognizing their generosity
The Board attending one of their meetings and cook for them
An article in the Newsleader
John suggested that a rep from the Lions is on hand to have pictures taken when the gazebo is
delivered.
