Members Present: John Anderson (Chairman), Marguerite Fogarty (Secretary), Sharon Young,

Bob reminded the Board of upcoming budget planning.

The work has been challenging due to the rain. Millstream fields sustained some damage due to
the rain. Terry has an idea of how to fix this and will bring to the Board for approval. Several
trees were also damaged at Millstream.
Old Business:
Cloverdale Park:
The progress is slow at this point. The pad is poured for the gazebo and handicap access is in.
Water service is next step. Terry spoke to Justin Honer about that. Once that is complete, they
will start moving dirt.
Millstream 5K
John met with Mike McDonald (Millstream Comm) and reps from CSB. CSB will take care of a
kid's run -1K or 2K -that route is not yet determined.
The Board approved hiring a professional time keeper (approx. $1000.00)
The fees to enter will be $20 for pre - registration and $25 same day registration. Both fees include
a shirt.
The estimate for number of people attending is 100. John will prepare a flyer.
Legacy Grant for Monument:
This needs to be resubmitted in August.
Other Old Business:
Discussion was held regarding the Board helping to plant trees. Centennial is the priority and then
Klinefelter with flowering crab trees. Terry will talk to the nursery and we'll tentatively plan on a
"tree planting" Saturday in Sept.
Grass at the Archery range will be planted in the fall.
Budget:
The budget needs to be submitted in July or August.
$11,900 is projected for this year.
Possible projects:
1.Northland Park -a trail to access park equipment
2.Bathrooms at Klinefelter; Based on today's market, the cost may be $75,000. $4,000
will be put in 2014 budget for initial planning. $71,000 will be put in 2015 budget. Terry
questioned whether DNR might have a grant to fund this project. Bob said Sales Tax Monies
could be used.
3. Other possible projects include a gazebo at Klinefelter and Millstream Shelter.
We will continue the discussion at our next meeting and complete budget.
