AGENDA ITEM: Recommendation of Officers
BACKGROUND INFORMATlON:
Annually the Fire Department conducts election of officers with rotating offices. This year the Assistant
Fire Chief and three captain positions(two—2 year term and one—1 year term)are available. The
department received one application for Assistant Fire Chief,Justin Honer and five for captain—current
captains Ken Jacobson, Mark Winter and Dan Muyres and Shirlie Brill and Keith Louwagie.
The Fire Department investigating committee submitted the following for officer positions:
Assistant Fire Chief Justin Honer
Captain,Two year term Ken Jacobson
Mark Winter
Captain, One year term Dan Mutres

REQUESTED ACTION: Recommend the City Council accept the 2014 Officers as presented.
