MEMO City of St. Joseph, PO Box 668, St. Joseph MN 56374 The Joint Board has two matters before them, and they are as follows: Variance Request — Setback and Size for nonconforming Sign As you are aware from the last meeting, St. Joe Mini -Storage LLC has made an after the fact variance application to alter an existing non -conforming sign. In order for the alteration to occur a variance is needed for setback and size. The Facts of Finding have been completed up to the decision and conclusion section, which the Board will have to complete. Conditional Use Permit — Alter a nonconforming sign In order for the existing billboard to be altered a conditional use must be approved and that cannot occur with the variances being approved. The basic findings have been included and the Board will have to complete the conclusion section. It has been drafted in the positive, as if the variances are granted. If they are not, we would just modify at the meeting. NOTE: The two actions require separation motions as on cannot occur without the other.
