BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Each time we get paged out for an Emergency call, we have to send in a
report to the state. Shirlie Brill has been doing this for about the past 8 years and has been getting an
extra payment of $150.00 for six months. Over the past few years, our call numbers have been going
up, which means more time entering these calls. She has kept track of her time and is putting in about
22 hours in a six month period, which is not even at the $10 per hour that we get paid for drills and calls.
As the current Fire Chief, I believe that she should get paid the $10 per hour for doing the Data Entry.
BUDGET /FISCAL IMPACT: $10.00 per hour for Data Entry
