Rick Schultz Just a quick update on a few projects.
Councilors 1. LHR Hotel Market Feasibility Study:

Bob Loso Study is underway. Phone interviews have been conducted with CSB, SJU, and

Dale Wick some businesses. LHR is working on competition and demand analysis at this
time.The study is to be completed by June 10,2014 and does include the
EDA additional study area approved at the March meeting.

Dale Wick Following the March meeting I finalized the position description for the EDA
internship program and distributed to the following outlets:
Mankato State University: Dr. Miriam Porter, Chair Urban&Regional Studies
University of Minnesota: Dr. Paula Pentel, Director Urban Studies Program
St. Cloud State University: Dr. Aspasia Rigopoulou Melcher, Director Planning
&Community Development
CSB/SJU: Laura Hammond,Assistant Director Experiential
Learning&Community Engagement
As you recall the duty of the intern outlined in the position description was to work
with the Farmer's Market Board of Directors to assist in event relocation to the
Downtown.
