HomeMy WebLinkAbout[05] Final Plat, Rivers Bend 3 5 Council Agenda Item MEETING DATE: September 4, 2014 AGENDA ITEM: River’s Bend Plat 3 SUBMITTED BY: Administration BOARD/COMMISSION/COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION: PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION: In 2005 the City approved a preliminary plat for Arcon. The preliminary plat included the Bechtold and Heim Farm. Shortly after the preliminary plat was approved, the School District purchased property for Kennedy. Due to the economic down turn, the property sat idle until Cory Ehlert and Brian Virnig purchased a parcel to develop homes in a plat entitled Rivers Bend 2. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Cory Ehlert and Kevin Cox have purchased another parcel to continue the single family home development. The proposed development is consistent with the approved preliminary plat. I have had the City Attorney review the documents regarding the plat dedication and the City has a recorded agreement whereby when the Park Board is ready to develop the park they have to turn over the parkland. Therefore, the platting of Rivers Bend three will not require park dedication fees. The final documents are still being reviewed, with hopes that it is ready for Council approval.
