Members Present: Marguerite Fogarty (Secretary), John Anderson (Chairman), Terry Thene
(Staff Liaison), Andrew Deuhs, Jodi Keehr, Sharon Young, Troy Goracke, Bob Loso (Councilor
Liaison)

The crew has been busy, trying to keep up.
Bob Loso:
On July 7th the Park Terrace project will begin..
Old Business:
a. Cloverdale Dedication
1. Notice of this event will be placed in the Newsleader and on the City website.
2. Food may include Brats from the Meat Market
3. Invitations will be sent to Council Members and City Administration. Marguerite will
take care of making and sending invitations to donors. Terry will supply a list of
names.
4. Terry has the list of contributors.
5. "Loving Hearts Nursery" is going to find help and take care of the plants, etc. The
City will maintain the grass, etc.
b. Adopt a Park Criteria
This was John's idea. Parks could be adopted either by donation, sweat equity or both
and in return, a sign would designate who adopted that park. John will check to see what
this entails and suggested we develop criteria and present it to the City Council.
c. Splash Pad
Nothing new to report on this project.
New Business
a. Klinefelter Improvements
$4,000 has been budgeted for planning. Bob is going to check into updating numbers of
the existing plan
b. Signage for Wobegon Trail
Tabled.

In addition:
The Cloverdale Park Dedication was successfully held on the unseasonably chilly July 14th
Although it wasn't an official meeting, Park Board Members were present as well as several of
the generous contributors to the project. Ice cream cones were served and other treats were
provided by the donors. The Mayor spoke to the group and encouraged more projects such as
this one. The renovations to the park were favorably received.
