Bob Loso Following are updates on Business Development Projects over the past month:
Renee Symanietz
Dale Wick • Alley/Parking improvement— 100 Block W Minnesota. The City Council will be holding a
EDA capital projects workshop meeting on September 22nd. The Council will be discussing
Doug Danielson what types of projects will be pursued in the future.We will then have direction on
Steve Frank whether or not to meet with property/business owners regarding improvements. Look
Larry Hosch for an update from Council Member Frank and/or Wick.
Gary Osberg • Marketing map update—the artwork for the City/EDA portion of the map will be
Dale wick completed in the next week. Joel Vogel and I will then meet with CSB Marketing
Director Diane Hageman regarding potential collaboration. No commitment on part of
CSB at this point.
• City and consulting staff met with Bayou Blues/Alley Flats stakeholders on several
occasions to discuss their project.
• Met with individual potentially interested in vacant property north of CSAH 75.
• Meeting with TIF Consultant regarding Bayou Blues TIF Plan documents on September
24th.
• Continue working with local entity considering new building project. Anticipate pre-TIF
application review at our October meeting. Contact may seek potential sources of
assistance through DEED as well.
• Meetings with several other business contacts occurred throughout the month.
