Dear Jeff:
The EDA/City has been contacted by a few owners of property that abut alleys in the 100 block of West
Minnesota Street regarding the condition of the alleys. You are receiving this letter because you own
property which abuts an alley in the 100 block as illustrated in the attached map.
You are invited to attend a small group meeting on Wednesday, October 29th at City Hall at 5 p.m. to talk
about the condition of the east/west and north/south alleys. Since upgrading the alley with amenities and
creating additional parking have repeatedly surfaced as issues in the past we are seeking your opinions.
Your thoughts on alley resurfacing, parking, and/or placement of enhanced amenities in the alley are
kindly requested. The discussion should take at most one hour.
There is not a project planned at this time, we are just seeking your opinion of what, if anything, needs
to be done in the alley in the future.
If you have comments but are unable to attend the meeting please contact me at your convenience at
(612)232-7399 or email me at cstrack(amunicioaldevelopmentgrouo.com.
Thank you in advance for your participation and input!
On behalf of the City of St. Joseph and the St. Joseph Economic Development Authority,
Cynthia Smith-Strack
EDA Director
