Exempt Employee Compensation:
Establish the general wage increase and insurance benefits for
exempt employees the same as established for LELS and
AFSCME.

PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
The City Council negotiated two year labor agreements between
LELS and AFSCME for the period 2014 – 2015. The terms of the agreements provide for a general wage
increase of 2.75% and provides the following insurance contributions:
Family Coverage: $ 997.12/mo premium contribution $ 2,000 HSA contribution
Single Coverage: $ 306.90/mo premium contribution $ 1,000 HSA contribution

BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
The 2015 budget was prepared using the rates stated above.
