In 2011 the City Council approved a major upgrade to the Cable Production System and due to the cost, the implementation of the new systems would be incremental. While the Council preferred to include live streaming the budget at that time did not permit. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Brad Venstra is requesting input from the Council on potential ugrades to the cable system, one of which includes live streaming. Brad will review the different options at the meeting, but the following link illustrates the capability of the tricaster: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jpic7UN3xUc The PEG Access account currently has a balance of approximately S 15,000 with an annual revenue stream of approximately S 8,500. If the Council opts to move forward with all the options and it exceeds S 15,000 the City can internally fund knowing that the revenue will be received during the year. Any equipment purchased would be moved if the facility changed.
