Fire Boots
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: At the Fire Boards meeting in August 2013, the board approved the
purchase of new Fire Boots. We agreed to purchasing the sets over a three year period. The Fire Chief
purchased the first 12 sets in 2013, 10 sets in 2014, and would now like to purchase the 3 more. This
would leave us down to 5 remaining, which will happen as our members on probation finish their
requirements and as we get new members. Each set of boots cost about $325.00. This year Joe Bye,
Greg Koutoupas, and Josh Schloemer are due for the boots. We have Brian Theisen, Andrew Kremer,
and Joe Orcutt on probation yet.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT: 3 sets of new Fire Boots at about $325.00 per set.

REQUESTED ACTION: Get the Fire Boards approval to purchase the next 3 new sets of Fire Boots.
