This is not additional equipment. This equipment has been budgeted on a 5 year cycle for replacement The front mount style John Deere mower is used year round for mowing,sweeping dirt,sweeping snow and blowing snow.This piece of equipment needs to be operational at all times to help maintain the City. The existing mower has 1127 hrs This equipment is starting to have maintenance issues,we have repaired snapped bolts which had to be extracted from the motor block and recently we had to replace the sweeper shaft at a cost of a$1000.00.
