Call to Order: 6:00 p.m.

All parks are opening- water turned on. Beginning of reservation year is May 1St. Campgrounds
maintenance crew has been busy. They have begun to make benches for gazebo- cedar for top;
Pricing for irrigation system in progress. Trees need to be planted and edging in before seeding;
Repairs made last year at Millstream for flooding issue are working!

Old Business:
a. Tree Planting
Delivery of trees will happen in a week to 2 weeks. We will be informed when they
arrive and when we can plant.
b. Case Day (Sat. April 26)
Clean-up didn't happen due to weather.
c. Interested Scout Groups
• A local scout group is interested in clean-up. Klinefelter might be their focus. Jodi
suggested Northland Park
• John suggested we do a more organized clean-up involving more people- a
community effort to take ownership of our parks
• Terry suggested an `adopt a park' proposal for a park. A group would be supplied
bags and do necessary weeding, etc.
New Business
a. Compost site hours and operation:
Site will open this Saturday (May 3) M. W. F. Sat- open. Check website for hours.
b. Dog poop disposal at Klinefelter:
Disposal units have been installed. Terry has heard favorable comments.
Other new business:
1.) Eagle Scout Projects (several are looking for projects):
a. Granite markers to label distances along Klinefelter
b. Signs along the trail- along Wobegon Trail to direct people to the city. Stearns Co.
Parks would have to be contacted to see what signage is allowed.
c. New location and improvement for donation box for Frisbee Golf Course.
(currently near camping area)
d. Some refurbishment of camping area. Ex: new roof on bathroom facilities or
replacing pavers with concrete.
e. Plant markers at Cloverdale
