Members Present: Marguerite Fogarty (Secretary), John Anderson(Chairman), Terry Thene
(Staff Liaison), Andrew Deuhs, Jodi Keehr, Sharon Young, Troy Goracke, Bob Loso (Councilor
Liaison)
Call to Order: 6:00 p.m.
Approval of Minutes: Approved
Approval of Agenda: Approved
Liaison Reports:
Terry Thene:
Trees will arrive on Wednesday. Rough grade at Cloverdale is finished and sprinkler heads are
marked. The trees will be planted, mulch will be put down and then we will be ready for plants.
Bob Loso:
A new development is pending. The potential for Park Development funds is not foreseen.
The Park Terrace Project has been approved. This includes widening of streets, parallel parking
access and diagonal parking access for park facility. Grading of the hill will help redirect for
sliding_safety.
Old Business:
a. Tree Planting
Trees will be planted on Wednesday, weather permitting. Terry will send an email
regarding the time to be there.
Trees from the state will arrive on the 19th. John will send an email to remind us and
discuss the time to be there.
b. Case Day (revisited)
Terry was contacted after Case Day and the Student Senate came out and cleaned up the
following week.

New Business
a. Summer Rec. Update (Sharon)
The program is running two weeks behind due to weather.
163 are currently signed up for ball program and 54 are signed up for Flag Football.
b. Eagle Scout Project Potential
Project proposals are still being developed. Terry is supervising this.
c. Adopt a Park Program
John asked if anyone from the Park Board would like to come up with a packet of
information about our parks-including ideas for"adoption". We will come back to this at
a future date.
d. Splash Pad
John will attend the Lions Meeting on the 20th to discuss Splash Pads, etc.
