PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION:
Council adopted the 2015 fee schedule on December 4, 2014. The
Peddler/Solicitor/Transient Merchant ordinance was updated in Dec. 2013
The current fee schedule includes a fee of $50.00 for a transient
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
worker permit for a maximum of 14 consecutive days. The city has been approached to provide a longer
term license such as a season for ice cream or similar sales. The Ordinance allows for more days as the
term is based on what the fee schedule states. Staff recommends amending the fee schedule to a tiered
fee approach. The applicant must still meet requirements under Ordinance 109. Proposed fees:
1-14 days $50.00
15-30 days $75.00
31-60 days $125.00
61-90 days $175.00
Annual permit $500.00
The City has been approached for a Brewer/Taproom License that will occupy space in the Millstream
Shops and Lofts. The current fee schedule for liquor license fees does not include a taproom and off sale
for brewed product. Staff proposes the following liquor license fees for the new establishment
providing applicant complies with liquor Ordinances and State Statutes.
Brewer Taproom License $550.00 annually
Small Brewer Off Sale Malt License $200.00 annually (sales </= 500 barrels annually)
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
$750.00 Liquor License
Unknown # applicants for transient workers
