MEETING DATE: May 6th, 2015
AGENDA ITEM: Membership
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: We had 6 applications turned in to the City of 2 open positions. Prior
to the interviews, one decided that he would not have enough time to give to the department and with
drew his applications. After the Interview and Agility Testing, the committee chose 2 possible
candidates to move forward. They are Justin Hunt and Dan Voight.
Both candidates have turned in there background check slips and we are waiting to hear back about
these. If and when they are good, they will then have a physical done and if all is good, would be
th
starting July 14 2015.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT: Roughly $5,000.00 per member which includes all the mandatory training and
new gear after the requirements are met.

REQUESTED ACTION: Approve the two members to the Fire Department.
