Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Planning Commission
for the city of st. Joseph met in regular session on Monday, March
6, 1995 at the st. Joseph City Hall.
Members Present: Chair Hub Klein. Commissioners s. Kalinowski,
Marge Lesnick, Kurt Schneider, Dan Nierengarten. Secretary of the
Commission Judy Weyrens.
Others Present: Mayor Donald "Bud" Reber.
Approve Minutes: Kalinowski made a motion to approve the minutes of
February 6, 1995 as presented; seconded by Nierengarten.
Ayes: Klein, Kalinowski, Lesnick, Schneider, Nierengarten.
Nayes: None. Motion Carried 5:0:0
MN Design Team Visit: Weyrens reported on the status of the visit
by the Minnesota Design Team. The visit has been changed to April
27 through April 30, 1995.
Parking Lot Standards: Commissioners questioned whether or not the
Council had adopted the recommendations of the Planning Commission
with regard to the parking lot standards. Weyrens stated that she
would check the status of the recommendations. Those present
requested that if the ordinance has not been amended, the language
be changed to include that bituminous surfacing be expanded to
clarify it must be a bituminous mat. Reber requested that Weyrens
check the status and refer the matter to the City Attorney for a
draft amendment for the City Council.
Adiourn: Lesnick made a motion to adjourn at 8:20 p.m.; seconded by
Nierengarten.
Ayes: Klein, Kalinowski, Lesnick, Schneider, Nierengarten.
Nayes: None. Motion Carried 5:0:0
